Cregg is originally from Indiana and has a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and a Master of Science from the University of Tennessee and a CFP® from Northwestern University and a AIF® designation from fi360.
He has a background in Agriculture and worked in Agribusiness 16 years including positions with the University of Missouri Extension Service as a Farm Management Specialist and AgriVisor Advisory Service before becoming a full time financial professional in 1997.
Cregg has been married to Dana Miyat for 38 years. Dana was a first grade teacher at Northpoint Elementary School in Unit 5 School District before retiring in 2017. Their children are Cally and Rylan. Over the years Cregg has been involved in many community activities, including Pony Baseball, YMCA, Exchange Club, Chamber of Commerce, Community Players. You can always catch him performing with the Sound of Illinois Barbershop Chorus and quartet singing. He also enjoys riding his Victory motorcycle and taking care of his parrot and fresh water tropical fish as well as a Koi pond.
